Reef tank built into a bookshelf #reeftank #aquarium #tankspiration

Price: $90.00 Indeed. Again, I didn't say anything about the price range I was looking for, only for the tank's availability. If you google bookshelf aquarium, virtually every hit gives the PETCO version, but looking at that or providing it as a reference does not preclude me from being interested in other things. I also commented on the GLA tank that is priced at about the same as the ADA, and even the PETCO tank is $40 or so, not exactly cheap for a 6 gallon tank. I do appreciate the link, but I'm not sure why you're concerned with my finances...

Three and a half weeks ago, I decommissioned my that was sitting on a wire shelf and began preparing to setup the new 12G bookshelf tank. Since rimless aquariums generally need more support than traditional designs, I built a small platform out of 2x4s and plywood to for the aquarium to rest on. For padding and aesthetics, I cut down a green yoga mat and laid it over the platform. Now that I didn’t have to worry about the wire-rack bowing and causing a leak in my new aquarium, I set out aquascaping it.

Fish Tank Stand Designs | Stands : Bookshelf Aquarium Stand & Canopy Plans I'm a new owner who is about to transfer the from an Eclipse 2 gallon tank to a Petco 6.6 Petco Bookshelf Aquarium. I just got one of those 6.6 gallon bookshelf aquariums from Petco, for my girlfriend. It's a great looking tank, and I can't wait to set it up, but I'm not too sure about the HOB that came with it. Does anyone have any experience with these things? They cool, but the filter compartment looks hokey, as does the actual carbon cartridge. I'm thinking of shoving some floss in there, but I don't know, we might just go buy an aquaclear.Nevertheless, my 12G bookshelf tank is becoming one of my favorite aquariums to sit and watch. The bottom is always moving with shrimp and plecos scavenging about, and now the white cloud mountain minnows are constantly active in the upper water column. Comments welcome! All of these minnows are going into my 12G bookshelf aquarium, which has a large colony of orange-eyed-blue-tiger-shrimp in it, plus about 50 juvenile bristlenosed plecos. This is a low-tech tank without any CO2 added and minimal fertilization, but there has a noticeable increase in plant growth since I’ve added the baby plecos and minnows. I guess they’re producing just enough waste to spur the plants on.Three and a half weeks ago, I decommissioned my that was sitting on a wire shelf and began preparing to setup the new 12G bookshelf tank.
