This is my 29 gallon hexagon, actually it's in my 2 year old daughters room, so I call it her's. I've had the tank for a good part of my life. I'm guessing 15-20 years! It's seen it's share of fish come and go. I had some angels in there at one time, moved those. I really don't think it's a big enough tank for angles to stay in long. Had Cory cats. Clown loachs, sharks that got too big. Raphael cat that got moved in with the cichlids and is loving it!

Here's a bit of info on the tank itself....
29 gallon tall Hexagon.
Rena or Filstar canister filter XP2, up to 75 gallons up to 300 gph.
Green Killing Machine 9 Watt UV Sterilizer with Power Head.
Eco-Complete Plant Substrate Black Fine-Grade.
Java fern, crypts, low light plants (so no plant eater fish please!)
1 Zoo Med Reef Sun 50and50 Fluorescent T8 Bulb 14 Watts, 15-Inch.
PH 7.4
Nitrate 5.0 ppm
KH 179 ppm
GH 161.1
R/O water with a mix of really hard well water.

Harlequin Rasboras
Female Betta
Albino Pleco

What I'm really looking for is maybe a couple nice "centerpiece" fish. Something that won't hide during the day, colorful, peaceful, won't outgrow the tank too fast, and if it does am I going to have to move it, or take it to my LFS. (I know, I like to over think things.) ;) Gimmie some input please. Thanks for watching!
